Educate a woman, educate a family.
Since 1974 we have supported the girls of Colegio Tecnico Menorah, a public school in Bogota, Colombia. Every gift helps provide their meals, uniforms, school facilities, psychosocial support, access to technology and extracurricular programs.

The flagship social project of Colombia’s Jewish community
Colombia opened its doors to the Jewish people when many other countries closed theirs. In 1974, Lia Ganitsky and the women of B’nai B’rith wanted to give something back to the country, and they chose to do it through education. That is how Colegio Tecnico Menorah was born, for the girls who need it most.
Today the school is part of Bogota’s public education system. The Foundation keeps supporting it with scholarships, psychosocial care, facility maintenance and programs that open a wider path for every girl.
Menorah Foundation, Inc. is a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit that manages the endowment funding the work of Fundacion Menorah in Bogota.
